Editing
Trisco also offers editing services of books, magazines and newspapers. We combine experience with a dynamic view of the relationship between text and image.
Beyond the medium and the message
Editing at Trisco combines years of experience working with texts from a range of subjects, with a rigorous approach that involves investigating information before the text is finalized. Grammatical correction, direct and clear style, adapted to the targeted type of vehicle and audience - all this results in a quality production that conveys the desired message, according to the personality and the intention of the vehicle containing it. In addition, the knowledge of different media, such as newspapers, magazines, internet and books, allows us to convey the message with precision and elegance.
Vergara & Riba
At Trisco, we're proud to have collaborated with VR, an Argentinian publisher working in Brazil since 1998. They have a diverse and globally-renowned portfolio mainly focused on young readers, including hits such as Maze Runner.
Gustavo Piqueira
A creative and innovative writer, Gustavo Piqueira has kept a fruitful partnership with us for many years, where rigorous preparation and proofreading of texts by Trisco joins the always surprising writing talent of this renowned author. Examples of this are the books Nove Meses, published by Editora Lote 42, and Iconografia Paulistana, released by Editora Martins Fontes Paulista.
Mythos Editora
Established in 1996, Mythos is known in the Brazilian and international publishing market for the quality of its publications, ranging from comic books to journals on Psychology, Philosophy, History, and Spiritism.
Júlio Monteiro, one of Trisco's partners, provides editing and editorial consulting services for Mythos, and has advised on important book launches, such as the French series Elric, Elfos and Okko, the republishing of the public and critical success Hellboy and the Heavy Metal fantasy and science fiction magazine.
Testimonies
Working with Frank is always a pleasure: in addition to the accuracy of the notes and the reliability of deliveries and deadlines, he always points out and discusses problems or narrative inconsistencies in the most diverse scales, establishing a very rich dialogue that is strengthened with each book I write.
Gustavo Piqueira, writer
I could say that Frank is one of the most committed and competent people I have met in my professional life. But I prefer to choose generosity as his main quality.
Few people dare to dedicate their time and attention to others.
I am a witness to this attribute and I have benefited from it. Especially at the beginning of my career as an editor. I lost count of how many times Frank helped me in times of doubt combined with tyrannical deadlines. I've never been alone. If making decisions safely makes an editor mature, I'm sure Frank was part of my training.
Today, I no longer resort to him when uncertainties arise. I have found my own resources. This means that, from the master's point of view, the mission is accomplished. And now, as I have learned, I keep trying, among so many everyday impositions, to be as genuinely generous with people around me as he was with me.
